The brief
K2N was the second-prize winner of the bank’s architectural competition and later served
as design-review consultant. After a contract breach with the first winner, K2N took over to
develop the design to its final stage and provide supervision and contract administration.
The building will rise twenty-six levels over five basements — one of the high-rises of Addis
Ababa upon completion.
